Christian is an avid chamber musician and orchestral player based in the Bay Area. Christian has attended festivals such as AIMS in Graz, the Monteux Music Festival, and the Marrowstone Music Festival. Most recently was a part of the 2023 Mendocino Music Festival Emerging Artists program and attended the 2024 Tonebase cello festival. He has performed in solo and chamber masterclasses for artists such as Matt Haimovitz, Glenn Dicterow, Brant Taylor, and Nathan Cole. Christian’s primary teachers include Saeunn Thorsteinsdottir, Hamilton Cheifetz, and Bay Area-based Nancy Kim. He works as a software engineer at Google, and plays both cello and double bass in the Googler Orchestra.
