Jinbo began playing flute at age six and performs regularly throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. His orchestral appearances include Symphony Parnassus, Golden Gate Symphony, the San Francisco Composers Chamber Orchestra, and the San Francisco Civic Symphony Orchestra. An avid chamber musician, he also performs regularly with his woodwind quintet.
He studied with Lin Wei of the Beijing Symphony Orchestra and continued his musical training at Bucknell University with Leslie Cullen, where he was an active member of the flute studio and principal flute of the university orchestra. Jinbo currently works as a site reliability engineer in San Francisco and enjoys running and cycling outside of music and tech.
